Abstract
The electrochemical behavior of Ag with Li was investigated with various particle sizes and under different current densities. When tested at a current of 10 mA g-1, the electrochemical behavior of a nano-Ag electrode showed a highly reversible reaction with Li, with the first discharge and charge capacities being 1158 and 727 mAh g-1, respectively. The electrochemical reaction mechanism of Ag alloying/dealloying with Li was revealed by ex situ X-ray diffraction analyses combined with a differential capacity plot of the nano-Ag electrode.
