Abstract

Platinum has been mainly used in exhausted gas clean system due to high catalytic activity. It is a rare metal, however, how to use it more efficiently has become an emergent problem. In this study, Pt-TiO2 nanocomposites was synthesized by adding the ceramic(TiO2) with chemically stable to reduce the use of platinum. At this time, in order to increase the catalyst efficiency, photochemical method was used without the addition of any organic matter. The morphology and structural characteristics of the synthesized Pt-TiO2 nanocomposites was examined via High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy. And the catalytic CO oxidation activity was evaluated with a fixed-bed flow reactor.
