Abstract

CUDA is being used in many areas of science and research. Pararell processing of CUDA is faster than CPU. But the CUDA could not be taking advantage depending on kind of program. Dvelopers using CUDA should be aware of the characteristic of CUDA and the difference of foundational architecture compared to CPU. In this paper, we investigate the performance of the CUDA for parallel processing in order to evaluate the potential use of it for x-ray image reconstruction.
