Abstract
This study presents a high-efficiency soft-switching step-up DC-DC converter. The proposed converter achieves zero-voltage switching of power switches and zero-current switching of the output diode. Also, it has improved the voltage conversion ratio. Moreover, the switch voltage stress can be lowered than the output voltage. Hence, improved efficiency, especially at full load, is achieved. The operational principle and detailed analysis of the proposed converter are given. The performance of the proposed converter is verified by testing a prototype converter implemented in the laboratory on an output 200 V-200 W.
