Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the interrelationships between investments in all modes of transportation and economic development. Emphasis has been on the impacts of transportation on productivity and economic factors that will improve the well-being of the region or community. The primary focus of the paper is on evaluating economic impacts of modal transportation investments.
