Abstract

In this paper, we propose the Smart U-Health Care System (SUCS), shoes detecting incorrect ambulatory habits. We developed the shoes to collect walking data and transfer them to a smart phone through Bluetooth wireless communication. It is possible to check a patient's health status in real time by measuring the data from their results in daily life. Also, people can correct their stride along with data collected and compared with a normal stride. Modern people do not know that incorrect walking gives negative influences on their body although they are walking for more than half of the day. Our goal is to inform people of their wrong ambulatory patterns and support modern health services through the use of SUCS.
