Abstract

By using a multilayered ferrite substrate, a compact internal DTV (Digital Television) antenna is proposed. The antenna is constructed on the ground plane of a clamshell-type mobile phone. It is suitable for a DVB-H band (VSWR<3), and it has over -10 dBi gain which is acceptable for a practical digital television signal reception.
