Abstract

This paper describes a set of long-term cycle scheduling algorithms in power management system (PMS) for MW-scale batteries. The purpose of PMS is basically to manage the input and output power from battery modules placed in the systems, considering the operational efficiency as well as system security. This paper mainly deals with long-term scheduling algorithms for peak shaving and security margin enhancement.
