Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new nonlinear DC ling voltage control scheme, which adopts a nonlinear load current observer, for voltage type PWM converter. As our load current observer is designed by using the full nonlinear converter model, our converter control scheme does not require any additional sensing device. Therefore, the converter adopting our new controller can provide fast and precise voltage regulation and can be made cheap and small. To demonstrate the practical use of our control method, we present various experimental results as well as mathematical performance analysis.
