Abstract

The massless φ⁴ theory may have the asymptotic, freedom in symmetry-broken phase. We study the vacuum instability which is the origin of the asymptotic freedom in comparison with some models. It is shown that the concept of the vacuum instability of the other literature can be applied to the massless φ⁴ theory.
