Abstract
We present a printed radio frequency (RF) aperture (with an extraordinary 20:1 bandwidth) using optically transparent conductor (OTC), conformally placed onto a perfectly conducting ground plane. Of importance is that the OTC enables vertical integration of electrooptical and RF. Multiple RF aperture layers can be used to achieve 1-300 GHz operation.
