Abstract

The purpose of the study is to achieve both lightweight and construction improvement for light weight transparent concrete which uses commercial transparent plastic bars to light into concrete instead of optical fibres. In order to achieve the light weighting goal, we use foams and lightweight aggregates for multiple experiments. As a result of the laboratory work, optimum mixing design which can reduce the weight as well as have excellent fluidity without separation of the materials was derived.
