Abstract

Lately, lives of individuals are exposed by various devices such as CCTV with the establishment of social safety net. However, exposures regardless of the will of people are frequent, which may be reproduced or duplicated without permission of those affected. Therefore, we propose a method of adding signature information to various images obtained by image information processing devices to ensure privacy protection and access control. In this paper, we explain two schemes: One is to reconstruct information necessary for image information and add a signature to include device information within the image information processing device, prior to sending images obtained by a image information processing device to an image information collection device. The other is to reprocess the image information and add a signature to it, once the information of the image information processing device is received by an image information collection device. We expect to manage the security of image data efficiently and use images of a certain event as digital evidence by collecting image data together with the images and adding the imaging device information and signature information.
