QoE Metrics for VR Streaming with Overfill Rendering

Abstract

We develop QoE metrics for VR streaming over networks, considering the impact of black borders after reprojection. We conduct experiments in our VR streaming testbed to investigate the effects of the overfilling factor and end-to-end latency on these QoE metrics.
