Abstract

Wireless power transfer (WPT) systems have been studied with various system configurations; among them, four-coil WPT is the conventional form in indirect-fed magnetic resonance WPT (MR-WPT). Small coil and transparent electrode coil made of multilayered IZTO/Ag/IZTO is designed. The planar loops and spiral coils were placed on the top and bottom of an acrylic substrate. The electrode was deposed indium- zinc-tin oxide-silver-indium-zinc-tin oxide (IZTO/Ag/IZTO) as a multilayer film structure. Loops were fabricated and optimised using capacitors. The coil was fabricated using a copper sheet and transparent electrode. The efficiency according to the transfer distance from 1 to 5 cm is measured. The optimised efficiency of the MR-WPT with capacitance was 81% using a copper coil and 57% using a transparent coil (IZTO/Ag/IZTO) at a transfer distance of 1 cm.
