Abstract

Ne-Xe mixtures are mainly used in surface discharge type AC PDPs. But the electro-optical characteristics of this mixture show quite interesting behavior and mechanism is not well understood. A detailed emission study will be helpful for understanding the discharge physics and thus improving the discharge efficiency or inventing new cell structures.
