N2 - We consider an inter-layer FEC technique combined with hierarchical 16QAM schemes for stereoscopic video transmission over AWGN relay channels. The proposed system with the suitable hierarchical value (α) can gain about 2.26-6.18 dB in the average PSNR performance, compared with the system using conventional FEC and hierarchical 16QAM schemes.
