Abstract

In this study, CFD analyses and experiments were performed to understand the characteristics of wind generated from an electric fan. The wind characteristics play an important role in the performance of the fan. To understand the characteristics of the wind generated by the fan blades more clearly, a dual-structured wing fan was selected, and a common fan was considered for comparison. Visualization experiments were conducted to determine the flow characteristics of each fan, and detailed analysis was performed via CFD analysis. Additionally, FFT analysis was used to compare the fan wind with the natural wind. The result confirmed that the double-structured wing fan contributes to the differentiated wind compared to the common fan.
