Abstract

In the title complex, (C₈H₂₀)N)[Cr(C ₁₈H₁₀Cl₂N₄O₂)Cl ₂], the coordination geometry of the Cr^III atom is distorted octahedral, with the Cr-N_amide distances [1.971 (4) and 1.973 (3) Å] significantly shorter than the Cr-N_pyridyl distances [2.077 (4)-2.093 (3) Å] and a Cl-Cr-Cl angle of 169.24 (5)°.
