The global string table based TVA metadata encapsulation architecture

Abstract

this paper proposes an efficient string table based TVA metadata encoding method to enlarge string hit number among fragments for smart TV contents guide. In the proposed architecture, an enhanced method is applied to increase encoding performance using the global string tables. The performance evaluation shows that we can achieve significant improvements compared with the original string table based encapsulation architecture.
