abstract = "The paper proposes a three-level resonant switched capacitor boost converter. The proposed converter can achieve full soft switching because of its resonant structure when switching frequency is equal to the resonant frequency. Frequency control is applied to regulate output voltage while keeping most of the soft switching features. The voltage stress on switches and diodes is low. Average voltage of the resonant capacitor (Cr) is zero, which makes its voltage rating low. Moreover, output voltage ripple of the proposed converter is very small. Low Crvoltage rating and small output voltage ripple provides smaller capacitor size, consequently higher power density for the proposed converter. The characteristics and the operation principle of the proposed converter are presented. Experimental result on a 400W prototype is provided to verify the analysis.",
