abstract = "A novel dual linear polarization rectenna with wide range coverage is presented. The proposed rectenna consists of dual linear polarized suspended patch antenna, the beamforming network, the rectifying circuit and the load. The 2×2 array suspended patch antenna with vertical and horizontal linear polarization is designed to receive all kinds of polarized waves. The quadrature hybrid coupler and ring hybrid coupler are considered as beamforming network to receive RF power from wide incident angle. The conventional RF power combining and dc power combining are compared with the proposed rectenna. The proposed quadrature hybrid structure shows the widest operating range and the operating range is 143? when polarization is matched and 125? when the polarization mismatch is greatest. The quadrature hybrid structure also shows the highest average received dc power with regard to incident wave angle and polarization angle variation.",
